Straight from
the Show-Me State, this 7 frame calving ease sire’s progeny
have proven to excel when raised and grouped with many other
top Angus A.I. sires. Renaissance 109’s performance ratios
are: BW:52@99, WW:52@102, and YW:23@103. Actual ultrasound
data on 13 bulls have averaged 3.99%IMF (Angus average is
3.60) and 14.70 RE (Angus average is 12.30); 8 heifers have
averaged 4.81%IMF (Angus average is 4.41) and 10.84 RE
(Angus average is 9.70). Not only does Renaissance add
muscle and lower rib fat/yield grades, but also produces
excellent females, some of which have been used for show as
well. His current females have a WW of 5@106. His 11 ½ year
old dam, still in production, has solid ratios of: WW:
7@106, YW: 6@106 and RE: 5@104 with a 9@373 day calving
interval. Renaissance is currently at use on Vannoy farms in
Shelbyville, MO and has also been used successfully for
timed A.I.
