With 6,719 progeny genomic tested as of the start of 2024, Southern Charm ranked Number 3 among active sires for progeny registered for the consecutive years of 2020 and 2021 after debuting among the top 25 sires in 2019 with an additional 1,425 progeny registered in 2022 and 2023 to make him one of the most widely-used sires in the breed over the past half decade.

Always a phenotypic favorite of visitors to ORIgen during his time there, this now-deceased powerful and easy-fleshing sire with a phenomenal fertility level was the leading sales sire at ORIgen for 2018 and ranked Number 2 in 2019 and Southern Charm collected and froze semen extremely well and produced high quality semen that yields a far above average conception rate, and his sons across the industry have semen checked very well at 12 to 14 months.

Produced by a dam whose first four natural calves recorded an average weaning ratio of 106 with 14 progeny scanned recording both an average %IMF and UREA ratio of 105 , his grandam has five calves with an average weaning ratio of 113, and Southern Charm descends from a line of females with quality udder structure and a high level of fertility that have a slick hair coat, good feet, ease of fleshing, and fescue tolerance and the females that produced him are very efficient cattle.

Daughters of Southern Charm sold in 2019 are headlined by the $100,000 sale feature for Nowatzke Cattle in Indiana, an $80,000 heifer calf sold at 44 Farms in Texas and the $43,000 top-seller for Yon Family Farms in South Carolina and a son of Southern Charm sold for $49,000 for Ken Haas in Wyoming where two more were the $14,000 and $12,000 second and third high-sellers, and another son sold for $35,000 as the top-selling bull in the 44 Farms 2019 Spring Bull Sale.
