The ORIgen-ABS combined sales leader for 2022 and 2023 and the record-setting $165,000 bull of the Fall 2019 SITZ Angus Ranch sale at Harrison, Montana where he was purchased by the progressive partnership of Dan Ingalls, Bar JV Angus and Lund’s B Bar Angus, his dam was the $37,500 top-selling open donor of the 2021 SITZ “Elite Sort” Female Sale selected by Stellpflug Cattle Company in Wyoming.

Known as a “low risk - high reward” sire whose sons have topped sales across the nation for the past two years, the greatest contribution of Resilient is yet to come as his daughters backed by the power of “America’s Maternal Herd” come into production and after producing the $500,000 record-setting bull of the 2022 Connealy Angus Spring Bull Sale and another $165,000 son purchased by Coleman and Conley, the more than 80 sons of Resilient that were headlined by the $45,000 top-selling bull of the December 2022 SITZ sale recorded an average sale price nearly $600 more per head than the outstanding overall sale average.

As his dam’s first calf, Resilient had a weaning ratio of 121 and an adjusted yearling weight of 1,530 pounds for a yearling ratio of 117 and his PAP score of 37 at 18 months of age contributes to an elite PAP score EPD and makes him a great choice for producing cattle that will work at altitude.

The $37,500 dam of SITZ Resilient is a daughter of the now-deceased Pathfinder Sire SITZ Top Game 561X, whose Pathfinder Dam is considered the greatest daughter of Onward produced in the SITZ program and after a great donor career for SITZ Angus and Express, she sold half interest for $200,000.
