Summer Internship Experience - Ella Jordan

Having a summer internship at Cattle Visions is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Hear from this summer's intern, Ella Jordan, on her time here at CV!

"Coming into my internship at Cattle Visions, I had a clear set of goals: gain hands-on marketing
experience specific to the livestock industry, broaden my knowledge base, and connect with
professionals who share my passion for animal agriculture. What I didn’t fully anticipate was just
how impactful this summer would be. Early in my internship, I was fully engaged in the daily
operations of the company and entrusted with projects that allowed me to take initiative and
explore my own direction. While given the freedom to be creative and take ownership of my
work, I always felt supported by a team that fostered collaboration.

One of my favorite parts of this internship was the exposure to many different areas of the
company. From marketing and customer relations to behind-the-scenes operations, I gained a
well-rounded understanding of how each department contributes to the company’s success.

This internship provided me with everything I hoped for, and much more. Beyond developing
practical marketing skills, I worked alongside people deeply committed to the future of livestock
genetics. I gained valuable insight into the efforts that drive this industry forward, from strategic
promotions to customer engagement. Most importantly, I built relationships and mentorships that
will continue to shape my journey long after this summer ends.

I was fortunate to be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team that made me feel welcome
and valued. The inclusive atmosphere encouraged me to ask questions, stay engaged, and truly
feel like a part of the organization. I will certainly miss the team lunches we shared and the
many laughs that made each day enjoyable. I am deeply grateful to every member of the Cattle
Visions team for making this summer an experience I will always remember.
