Major Classic has been appraised often by astute cattlemen as having outstanding potential to sire very eye appealing cattle. He was born unassisted to a Hereford recip weighing in at 83 pounds. He has been GE EPD tested.
He possesses true functionality from end to end. His cherry red color carries all the way to the ground with pigment on both eyes He moves with ease and grace and is producing large volumes of quality semen. His photo confirms strength from a massive rear quarter to smooth shoulder. Major is elite in the way he transforms from his shoulder out high into his neck and attractive head and has amazing depth of body. He weaned at 805 lbs and transformed into 1320 pd yearling weight on a frame 6.
Major's dam is sired by Authority. His grandam was a donor cow for Hoffman Herefords sired by Outcross and tracing back to the great line one cow, CL Dominette 825H. 90112 is extremely long fronted cow with excellent body capacity and carries a high quality teat and udder structure with excellent milk flow. She was shown successfully by Addison Koontz including being named reserve Grand Champion at Oklahoma Youth Expo and division champion at numerous national and regional Hereford shows.
Admirers have described him as the best son of his well documented sire, American Classic. A Highlighted show career included being named reserve Supreme Champion. Square G will have calves sired by him in 2026.
