BARU MR TUBBS is a unique outcross pedigree that was created here at the ranch by mating DB Iconic to a Canadian SSS Trapper cow purchased from Tate Pieper. Tubbs was a gentle giant, the most docile bull ever produced at the ranch. At weaning time he was 100 pounds bigger than his contemporaries. There are nine progeny in the database, all superior performance individuals. The average birth weight of his bull calves is 85.5, two heifers averaged 74 pounds. Weaning weights ranged from 600 to a whopping 792 pounds. Yearling weights from 1091 to 1305. The soundness and foot structure on his calves is superior. Tubbs broke his leg in a bullfight. We have some semen available but when it's gone there will be no more.
Mr Tubbs is a gentle giant. His docility is second to none. His super power is his evident in his growth numbers which he earned with his outstanding individual performance. He weighed an even 100 pounds more than any bull in his age group. His foot structure and soundness is excellent. The hoof trimmer has no complaints with his angles, heal depth and claw structure.
Tubbs mother (4MC AQUILLA 256) has several outstanding daughters in our herd that we depend on to produce powerful bulls. Tubbs flush mate sister is a donor cow with embryos already sold to Berwald Red Angus. We also put in 6 at the ranch for fall 2024 and have 18 still on hand to sell. Embryos are sired by Berwald confident and LSF Identity. All of the flush mates to Mr Tubbs have been excellent individuals.
